History: The Suiren clan originally originated from somewhere on the mainland, Or at least so it is believed. Due to the similarities between the Ametsuchigan and Konoha's Sharingan and Byakugan it's assumed that the three must have some kind of distant relationship but any possible Uchiha or Hyuga blood has been so diluted that there's no real tangible connection between the three. The Suiren Clan was present at Kirigakure's founding and no one really knew about the clan's history prior to that event, Not even the clan-members themselves.It's not that they wanted to keep it secret or something, They simply didn't care about that at all. Living in the resent is one of the Suiren clan's key philosophies.
They didn't have a key position in the villages founding but they became valued citizens nonetheless. Not because of their powerful ninjutsu or fighting abilities, Simply because they grew pretty flowers. The first Mizukage then hired the clan to maintain the growing village's flowerbeds and parks and they were happy to oblige and they have remained in this position since then. Despite the fact that the Suiren clan has access to relatively powerful Dojutsu as their Kekkei Genkai the clan's history include very few shinobi. The clan has always promoted non-violence and modesty in life, Something that doesn't exactly go hand in hand with the Shinobi lifestyle. However the Suiren clan has accepted the world they live in and doesn't hold any grudges or harbor any bad feelings towards the shinobi. Due to the clan's pacifist nature the Amestsuchigan hasn't been held in high regards, Mainly because few see it as anything else than a glorified alternative to pesticide. |
